Phishing emails try to trick you into clicking a bad link or giving up your password. Here’s what to look for.
Red Flags
- Urgent or scary language (‘Your account will be closed!’)
- Misspelled sender addresses
- Generic greetings (‘Dear user’)
- Links that don’t match the official URL
If in doubt, don’t click. Call your IT department.
